Pumpkinvine Bike Trail - Oil Painting
The ‘Pumpkinvine Bike Trail is a painting that I revisited after working up some scenes as a charcoal drawing first. This 8x10 on canvas panel was completed during a single sitting. The brushwork stayed a bit more loose than some of my other studio paintings.
The scene is taken from a much dreaded hill on the Pumkinvine Bike Trail. It’s actually not that bad, but my kids never look forward to on our bike rides… until the downhill starts on the other side.
